We would like to thank the Department of Spanish at the West University of Timișoara (UVT) for the invitation to take part in a series of Days dedicated to the Culture and Civilization of South America, organized in collaboration with the Faculty of Arts and the “Eugen Todoran” Central University Library of Timișoara, from November 10 to 12.

The event focuses on the cinematography of Argentina, Chile, and Peru, featuring productions by both classic and contemporary directors, representing various film genres such as short films, documentaries, comedies, thrillers, and dramas.

Argentine films to be screened during the event:

• Wednesday, November 12, 2025, 7:30 p.m.: Últimas imágenes del naufragio (1989), directed by Eliseo Subiela
