The IRONMAN 70.3 (2025 Edition) will take place in the Province of San Juan, between April 3 and 5, organized by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sports and the Ministry of Production, Labor, and Innovation of the Province of San Juan.

IRONMAN 70.3 is one of the fastest-growing triathlon competitions and one of the most important international sports events in recent years. The event attracts over 1,500 participants from more than 25 countries and thousands of spectators, and it will be a great boost to promote activities, goods, and services in the sports industry developed in the Argentine province of San Juan.

In previous editions, athletes swam in the Punta Negra reservoir, cycled over 90 km, and ran 21 km in two laps around the city.

2025 Edition: IRONMAN 70.3 SAN JUAN

The city of San Juan, the provincial capital, will once again welcome IRONMAN 70.3 athletes and fans with its urban charm and fusion of modern architecture and historical legacy.

This event will offer qualifying spots for the 2025 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship.

During the event, the swimming circuit is planned to take place in the Punta Negra Reservoir (1,900 meters) in one lap. The cycling segment will cover 90 km, starting from the reservoir and following provincial routes N° 12, 38, 60, and 107, and the national route RN 40, leading to the heart of the city of San Juan, ending at the Bicentennial Park. Finally, the running circuit will be around the historic center of the city of San Juan, passing by iconic tourist points.

In addition to the competition, this 2025 edition will feature an Exhibition Center with sport-related products in a networking and business space, where local entrepreneurs—mainly from the province’s exportable sector, including sportswear and equipment across various disciplines, healthy food, and dietary supplements—can meet with importers of related products.
