On December 11, 2024, Dr. Rubén Ascúa, Rector of the National University of Rafaela (UNRaf) in Argentina, visited Romania to strengthen collaborative ties with the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest.

He later visited the Embassy to discuss the local university ecosystem, highlight scholarship opportunities, and explore the mutual interest in building connections between Romanian and Argentine universities.
